I’m Jenni Samuel, a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults and adolescents (ages 16+) navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders, and life transitions. Many of my clients are also working through aging-related concerns, including perimenopause and menopause, and are seeking greater clarity, balance, and emotional resilience.
Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. I offer a calm, respectful space where we can explore patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools to support meaningful change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and feel more confident navigating both everyday challenges and larger life shifts.
I take a collaborative, individualized approach to therapy, integrating evidence-based methods that support emotional healing, flexibility, and long-term change. Early sessions focus on understanding your concerns, experiences, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels relevant and manageable.

Treatment Approach
My work is informed by the following approaches:
● Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)
ART is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps reduce the emotional impact of distressing memories and experiences. It can be effective for addressing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and unresolved experiences while allowing clients to remain in control of the process.
● Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT focuses on helping individuals develop psychological flexibility by learning to relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions. This approach supports values-based living, improved emotional regulation, and greater resilience during life transitions.
● Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process distressing experiences in a way that reduces emotional intensity. While often associated with trauma, EMDR can also support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges connected to past experiences.
I integrate these approaches based on your needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Throughout our work together, I emphasize a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship where your pace is respected and therapy remains focused on what matters most to you.
